Addie King, MA, LPC, NCC
Addie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New
Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied
Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Rowan University in
2007, and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University in 2013.
She is board certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Addie has been employed in the mental health field since 2007, and has experience with community agencies and the NJ Children's System of Care. She has worked with birth parents, adoptees, and adoptive families through the adoption process and beyond.
Addie’s utilizes a client-centered approach to counseling, while developing and building upon a client’s strengths. She tailors treatment to fit every unique individual. Addie is trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is in the process of completing certification to become a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider.
Addie has experience working with children, adolescents and adults with various issues including Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Trauma, and Adoption as well as working with those struggling with various life transitions and relationship issues.
