KAP & Imago

We offer a 16 week treatment program with

Imago Couples Counseling as the rotating, biweekly psychotherapy compliment to

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Our goal with offering KAP and Imago together as a 16 week treatment program is to help Couples heal as quickly as possible, utilizing the neuroplastic effects of KAP while learning new ways of communicating, and un-learning negative emotional reactions to the past.

We want Couples to feel better, together, and move forward from their past pains and traumas, and to live together, feeling better understood and connected.

We believe in the benefits from utilizing both KAP & Imago combined as a brief treatment for not only trauma healing, but most mental health obstacles, such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, grief, anger, low self esteem, along with treatment for substance abuse and addictions, and here's why:

Transform Your Relationship with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Imago Couples Counseling

Are you and your partner facing challenges in your relationship that traditional therapy hasn't fully addressed? Imagine a path that combines cutting-edge science with profound emotional healing. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) paired with Imago Couples Counseling offers a groundbreaking approach to deepen connection and resolve conflicts.

What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is an innovative treatment that combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine, a medication originally used as an anesthetic, with guided psychotherapy. Ketamine has been shown to have rapid and profound effects on mood, often leading to breakthroughs where other treatments have fallen short. During KAP, a trained therapist administers ketamine in a controlled setting, allowing for a heightened state of introspection and emotional release.

What is Imago Couples Counseling?

Imago Couples Counseling is a relationship therapy approach developed by Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt. It focuses on understanding and healing the unconscious factors driving conflicts in relationships. Imago Therapy helps couples recognize and address these underlying issues by fostering empathy, effective communication, and emotional safety.

How Can KAP and Imago Therapy Work Together?

  1. Enhanced Emotional Insight: KAP can help couples access deeper emotional states and unresolved issues that may be difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy alone. This can provide new perspectives and insights that enhance the effectiveness of Imago Therapy.

  1. Increased Empathy and Connection: By addressing emotional wounds and promoting healing in a KAP session, partners may approach Imago Therapy sessions with greater empathy and openness, leading to more constructive and compassionate communication.

2. Accelerated Healing: Combining KAP with Imago Counseling can expedite the healing process by integrating the profound emotional shifts facilitated by ketamine with the structured relational work of Imago Therapy.

3. Breaking Through Barriers: For couples who have hit a plateau in their counseling journey, KAP can provide a breakthrough that rejuvenates the therapeutic process, allowing for renewed hope and progress in Imago sessions.

Why Consider This Combined Approach?

  • Holistic Healing: Address both individual and relational aspects of healing simultaneously.

  • Rapid Results: Benefit from the accelerated emotional breakthroughs of KAP and the relational tools of Imago Therapy.

  • Increased Engagement: Heightened emotional experiences in KAP can lead to a more engaged and motivated approach to Imago Counseling.
